GREENDALE ACRES IN THE NEWS: SPRING BLOOMS & INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY FEATURE ON CTV

Spring at Greendale Acres is always special — but this year, it was especially meaningful.

We were honoured to be featured on CTV News Vancouver in a segment celebrating International Women’s Day, highlighting the women behind our family farm and the beauty of spring in full bloom.

In the feature, Vanessa shared her favourite way to create a fresh flower arrangement using blooms grown right here at Greendale Acres. Watching her walk through the process — selecting seasonal stems, layering texture, and building a bouquet straight from the field — was a beautiful reminder of what spring on the farm is all about.

🌷 Fresh flowers
🌿 Hands in the soil
💛 Family roots
🌻 Women leading in agriculture

The segment showcased not just our tulip and flower season, but the heart behind it — a family-run farm in Chilliwack where each season is grown with care, intention, and pride.

Being featured around International Women’s Day was incredibly meaningful to us. Farming is tradition, resilience, and hard work — and we’re proud to see women continuing to shape the future of agriculture.

As we look ahead to another spring season at Greendale Acres, we’re already excited for:

  • Fields bursting with colour
  • Guests creating their own bouquets
  • Families returning year after year
  • And welcoming new visitors discovering our farm for the first time

We are so grateful to CTV News for sharing our story — and to our community for continuing to support local farms in the Fraser Valley.

Spring is here, and we can’t wait to see you in the fields. 🌷
